SAIT s.n.c., founded in 1981, entered the market with general excavation works for pipeline installation and cathodic protection services.

In 1990, it expanded its offerings with specialized cathodic protection services — systems designed to prevent corrosion on buried pipelines and other structures such as aqueducts, tanks, etc.

Over the years, SAIT has trained its personnel through courses, obtaining 3rd level certifications in cathodic protection according to UNI EN ISO 15257:2017. In 2001, it achieved ISO 9001 certification. In 2009, it expanded its team with qualified personnel for the installation and calibration of industrial gas volume correctors.

In 2014, SAIT s.n.c. transformed into SAIT s.r.l.s..

In 2015, SAIT s.r.l.s. incorporated the sale of CANUSA-CPS products for pipe coating into its anti-corrosion division (all-inclusive formula), offering technical support for selecting the most suitable anti-corrosion coatings for steel pipelines.

In 2016, it added corrosion control services for district heating pipelines to the anti-corrosion sector, including design, supply, installation, and maintenance of dedicated monitoring units.

In 2022, SAIT s.r.l.s. became SAIT s.r.l., as part of a holding company.
